Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos Week 2 Last-Minute Injury Report: Fan's Take - Yahoo! Sports

With just hours remaining until the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos kickoff on Monday Night Football, now is the time to look at the injury reports for both teams. Earlier this week, we learned that the Falcons were going to have to be without cornerback Brent Grimes for the rest of the season after a week one Achilles injury sidelined him. What other injuries should fans of both squads keep an eye on?

Atlanta Falcons

CB - Brent Grimes - Torn Achilles Tendon - Out for season

T - Tyson Clabo - Hip - Questionable for game on Sept. 17

LB - Robert James - Knee - Probable for game on Sept. 17

LB - Sean Weatherspoon - Hamstring- Questionable for game on Sept. 17

WR - Roddy White - Groin- Questionable for game on Sept. 17

The injuries to Weatherspoon and White are the most troublesome for the Falcons this week. White is one of the best receivers in the league, but he has tweeted that he will play. While I'll take his word for it, we've seen players get overruled by their coaches before. For Weatherspoon, he should be a go tonight. He didn't participate in practice on Friday, but he did take the field during their weekend practices.

Denver Broncos

G/C -Phillip Blake - Thumb - Questionable for game on Sept. 17

CB - Chris Harris - Ankle - Questionable for game on Sept. 17

G - Chris Kuper - Forearm - Probable for game on Sept. 17

G - Manny Ramirez - Elbow - Probable for game on Sept. 17

WR - Demaryius Thomas - Shoulder - Probable for game on Sept. 17

The only injury that would bring fear to the Broncos and their fans would be to Thomas. He is listed as probable, so he will suit up and start. If he takes a big hit, his day could be ended early, but fantasy GM's have no other choice for tonight than starting him. I wouldn't have deterred from starting him anyway. With Peyton Manning, Thomas is going to become a star.
